Cindi - I can't begin to thank you for flying all the way to California just to be there for 24 hours on my special day! I don't think I need to tell you that you were such a huge hit at the wedding. All of my guests were raving about your amazing talent and they were thoroughly impressed with the way you were able to capture each person's personality. You are a true artist that stands in a category of your own and your work is unparalleled. The silhouette cutter station set my wedding apart from any others that my guests have attended and they will remember it every time they see their framed silhouette. Nelson and I love our elegant silhouettes and we thank you for the beautiful frames. I flip thru my silhouette album all the time and I love that I went with that instead of a regular boring guest book. I will always remember you for playing a very special part on my big day! Thanks!

Dear Cindi,

Thank you so much for the wonderful silhouettes of Don and Campbell and of Don and myself. It was sweet of you to take time out of your very busy schedule to come to our home on Saturday to create your special magic. We have enjoyed looking at the silhouettes all weekend and sharing them with our friends.

Our daughter Molly and son Charlie had their silhouettes cut by you today at Fundamentally Toys. You were kind enough to do my daughter's twice, and we wanted to let you know how happy we are with the second image. You have really captured them both, and we are thrilled to have these beautiful memories of how our kids looked in the summer of 2010. We appreciate the extra time you spent with Molly. Thank you.

p.s. - We are especially excited to hang these with the one you did of me at Astroworld in 1980. My sister, whose silhouette you cut in 1980 as well, also came in today with her two daughters. It's a family tradition now!





I almost cried when I saw them... seriously! I was breath-taken and speechless! Your art is so distinct and beautiful, especially considering you've never met our daughter nor seen a proper photo. Cindi. You did silhouettes of my twins 25 years ago and I still have them.

They're one one of the most precious things I own. We will be celebrating the Twins 30th birthday this Saturday. Thank you for beautiful memories.

Tonight on PBS Antique show they showed silhouettes as an item to appraise...........I immediately brought up the wonderful silhouette you cut of my husband and me.

I googled you - and read your story. How exciting it was to see what you have accomplished with your talents and created a way to share your life.

I have always had it framed and displayed since you did it. What you may find interesting is how very many years ago this was. My husband worked at JSC in Clear Lake, but he also had a personal Air Conditioning business. Once of the suppliers had a picnic at a park in Friendswood. You were there cutting silhouettes as a favor for each of the customers to take home. I would guess it was in the mid-early '70's. I have always loved and appreciated this "thank you gift" from that company. I know you have heard many stories, but I thank you so much for this remembrance.

We lived in Seabrook,TX. for nearly 40 years. In 2004 we retired and now live near Hot Springs, Arkansas. Of course we often make trips back to the Houston area to visit friends and family. Tom worked for Nasa for nearly 30 years and I had a catering business during that time. I now attempt to be creative with small paintings, cards, poetry and short stories.

Cindi - I will continue to enjoy the silhouette - but what pride I feel in being some of your first "people"!!!! AND - what joy you share with your "cutting talent". Then add the wonderful Rose Ribbon Foundation to your accomplishments.
