Silhouette artist Cindi Rose carves Thomas Jefferson’s
family!
International silhouette artist, Cindi Harwood Rose was invited to do
silhouettes at Monticello for The Thomas Jefferson Family reunion. It is not
uncommon for America’s greatest silhouette artists, to make world tours doing
silhouettes for museums, historic venues, and former Presidents. The best
female silhouette artists are Cindi Rose and Kathryn Flocken who are well
versed in the history of silhouettes, and the art of paper cutting. They often
work events together, as silhouette sisters. The lovely art of silhouette
cutting, is a lost one, both Rose and Flocken can do interior details and
groupings. They merely look and cut the profiles using authentic silhouette
paper and acid-free card-stock. They are available, for lectures, fund-raisers,
events, and television interviews.
